How can I adapt my cat to ANiMEAL pet food if my cat used to eat a different brand of food?
If you plan to give your furkids ANiMEAL cat food, please introduce your cat to the new food slowly and patiently to avoid any digestive problems. You can start by mixing small amounts of new foods with existing foods and gradually increase the ratio, at least for a few days.
Keep an eye on your cat's weight and overall health to make sure they are getting enough nutrition. And make sure the food is stored in a cool, dry place, please check the expiration date before feeding.

Is ANiMEAL pet food vacuum packed?
ANiMEAL food is not vacuum packed. In order to keep our food at optimum freshness, it is packed in aluminum foil bags, which prevent the ingress and egress of oxygen. Once the bag is sealed, no oxygen can get in or out. When the bag is sealed, the amount of oxygen remaining depends on whether our exhaust system has pushed all the air out (not really vacuuming).
Depending on the consistency of the food, the temperature, how the bag is packed, etc., some packages will have a little more air and others will have a little less. Some packages look like they've been emptied and some don't, but we guarantee the food in every bag is equally fresh.
How long can ANiMEAL dry pet food be kept after opening?
Unopened ANiMEAL pet food can be stored for 18 months; after opening, the best time limit is to eat it within three months, and remember to store it in a cool and dry place!
